Blitz Bash is a fun online competition set to challenge your strength and stamina over the course of five weeks through Benchmarks designed by Blitz Belts. The Benchmarks are inspired by movements found in Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Weight Training and CrossFit and emphasize heavily upon strength.

Benchmark Pre-requisites 

You should be familiar with the following movements and be able to perform each movement as outlined in the Blitz Bash Standards. Again, it is highly recommended that you are intimately familiar with these movements. Blitz Bash and Blitz Belts do not support nor condone attempting or performing these movements without proper technique, knowledge and safety precautions and are not responsible for the adherent risks associated with attempting these movements. A List of the prerequisite movements are outlined below:

Deadlift (conventional)
Hang Clean
Power Clean
Clean & Jerk
Shoulder Press
Push Press
Back Squat
Front Squat
Overhead Squat


Blitz Bash is a five-week online competition consisting of strength-based Benchmarks beginning Wednesday, May 1 and ending Sunday, June 2. Benchmarks are released each week, Wednesday night at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (EST). You have until the following Sunday at 6 p.m. EST to submit your score and submission video. A score of “0” will be issued to athletes failing to submit their score/video within this allotted time. As well, Benchmarks will remain anonymous and are only released on the date and time outlined in the schedule below.

BB 1.1: Wednesday, May 1 @ 8 p.m. EST - Sunday, May 5 @ 6 p.m. EST

BB 1.2: Wednesday, May 8 @ 8 p.m. EST - Sunday, May 12 @ 6 p.m. EST

BB 1.3: Wednesday, May 15 @ 8 p.m. EST - Sunday, May 19 @ 6 p.m. EST

BB 1.4: Wednesday, May 22 @ 8 p.m. EST - Sunday, May 26 @ 6 p.m. EST

BB 1.5: Wednesday, May 29 @ 8 p.m. EST - Sunday, June 2 @ 6 p.m. EST
